Tony Davis’ beautiful Vans RV-8 Fastback came alive with this sleek, unique scheme! Early on in the designing process, Tony felt drawn towards a mostly blue plane, so we brought that dream to life! He wanted it to be a subtle but striking design that was smooth with seamless color transitions.
The deep navy, medium blue, and bright yellow came together with this piercing design. This bird truly shines in daylight and begs for attention. Highlighting the frame and aerodynamics of this plane makes this scheme perfect for the RV-8, and the beautiful application of the dark blue to medium blue fade bring the scheme together.
