Spencer’s stunning Vans RV-8 is out of the shop and is a vision of beauty in red! Sporting rich colors, simple lines, and a classic checkerboard, this plane’s airframe is elegantly highlighted and leave the build to do the talking.
Spencer knew from the beginning of the design process that he wanted a horizontally split design that elongated the aircraft and keep things simple. After playing around with several variations of the checkerboard, we finally landed on a faded pattern that is also brought up onto the wings.
Our design team worked hard to get every aspect perfect for this aircraft, and the Evoke Aviation technicians and paint crew did a great job of bringing this scheme to life! Congrats to Spencer for bringing home this beauty!
