Van's RV-14A N5875G Custom Paint Scheme
Tim Grassman’s RV-14A features a bold and aggressive paint scheme that brings together sharp angles, crisp contrasts, and sleek geometry for a modern, high-energy look. The aircraft is finished in a dynamic combination of black, a striking metallic red, and cool grey.
The red, with its metallic finish, catches the light beautifully and adds vivid depth and intensity to the design. Black and grey establish a clean, refined base, while a sharp grey checkerboard pattern across the ailerons and flaps introduces just the right amount of edge without overwhelming the overall flow.
This project was incredibly fun to bring to life, and we’re so grateful to have played a part in realizing Tim’s vision. Getting to capture this aircraft during a photoshoot at Oshkosh made it even more special, seeing it shine among so many great builds was a real highlight.
