The best way we could figure to honor Estevan Bataglia’s sleek RV-14A was to stage it for this beautiful sunrise photoshoot. The bright silver, the elegant white, and the gorgeous blue shimmered in the golden sun as we ran to get photos before saying out final goodbyes to this cherished airplane before takeoff.
Upon dropping off his aircraft at our facility, Estevan told us he had a secret! He wanted to include “Lady Leela”, his wife’s nickname, on the cowling as a surprise to his wife, Fabia. We made sure to keep it a secret for the entire duration it was here, editing all photos and videos of the progress before completion, leading up to a wonderful surprise when they both got to see it in person. Everyone’s face was definitely hurting from all the smiles!
This beautiful story aside, Estevan’s RV-14A was one of pure quality. We are lucky Estevan chose to work with us and we are happy to have had the opportunity to work on his plane, in order to delivery him and Fabia a gift that they will never forget.
